Ever been out for dinner and your steak had this amazing butter on top of it taking the flavour from amazing to sensational? It’s so easy to do it yourself at home!
Herbed butter is one of our favourite ‘go-to’ secrets that help to make a meal much more delicious. It’s all just a mixture of good-quality butter with what ever herbs we have fresh in the garden, some salt and finely chopped garlic. Make it with what ever herbs you really like or what ever will go well with your meal. Thyme, rosemary, basil work wonders but almost anything will work.
Roll the mixed butter up in some plastic wrap into a ‘cigar’ shape and pop it in the freezer. Cut into coin-sized wedges to serve as needed.
Pop a piece into some sautéd veggies, like mushrooms and thank us later!
